Snapshots 1

Photo - Amanda Hartman
Our refrigerator was broken this morning.  It was kind of warm inside and smelled weird.  I was mildly panicked, but knew that there wasn't much food that could spoil in there and that we had a mini fridge upstairs.

As I headed out to work, my husband kissed me for probably the 8th time that hour and said, "Don't worry about this, when you get home, we will have a cold refrigerator and everything will be perfect."

I went on through my workday.  I had a few laughs, less energy than usual and oddly caught myself frowning a few times.  I didn't have an appetite and thought a lot about how much energy it takes to be jolly and smile all the time.  I just didn't have it today.

When I got home the refrigerator was fixed and now we are watching a documentary about Calvin and Hobbes.

This is a snapshot of my day.
