Chuck Berry and other memories

Memory:

When I was in the second grade, my favorite song was Riding Along in my Automobile, by Chuck Berry. This song tells the story of a fellow who wants to smooch with his lady friend in his car, but has a terrible time unbuckling her seat belt...so no smooching takes place. I knew all the words and would often slide my legs into the box of my pee-wee's playhouse and push myself around the house pretending the box was a car and sing this song boldly. I imagine it was a sight to behold.

At one point, I loved Chuck Berry so much, that I stole my dad's Chuck Berry cassette tapes to listen to on the school bus. I tried to get my friends interested in this musical genius, but had little luck. I guess their musical taste just needed a little more development...I mean, we were only 8.
