Lets celebrate my 30th post. I am personally celebrating by listening to "I was made to love her" by Stevie Wonder and drinking a tall glass of ice water. Iced tea would be ideal, but what can I say?
As I write this, I realize that I have written 30 posts, but am not sure if I actually published them. If not, I will remedy it.
Okay, onto more interesting topics.
Art Class: The Time of my Life
So I am taking yet, another drawing class this semester. I am pretty excited because the head of the Art Department is teaching it. She seems serious and like she will make us work really hard. I like that. I had an art mentor once that would yell at me all the time and make me draw my self portrait everyday for 30 days straight. It was tough, but I sure learned a lot. I can see myself teaching art that way. My sister can tell you that I have been saying "Just Do it" long before Nike.
Anyway, it will be interesting to see what my classmates are like. I have met them once, already, and they all seem relatively normal. That is usually a sure sign that they are freaks. It is a combined class of drawing I and drawing II students. I hope we drawing II students are not neglected.
Blog Reflections:
You know whats cool about having a blog? I can write and say whatever I want without getting interrupted. I guess writing in a journal is the same thing. I have been journaling since the 5th grade. There are some holes in my journals from certain times in my life. For example, I stopped journaling for a period of time when I had a long distance boyfriend. I wrote him so many letters, I had little time to journal. He is lucky to have such a library of entertaining reading material. That bastard. Another cool thing about having a blog is that I get to use the word "blog" around people who have never heard that word before. Its a great conversational term. Other than that, I will be interested to see if I gain any followers. If I do, I will be more motivated to write my memoir. The only problem with a memoir would be zeroing in on a time in my life to write about. I have lots of childhood memories (which I am finding is rare) I could write about. One would be the time I cried because I hated my kindergarden teacher, but when she asked me what was wrong, I felt bad telling her that I hated her, so didn't. Too bad I didn't know that at age 5, you can get away with a lot more than when you are an adult. Oh well.
I hope for my readers' sake, my next blog will have more meat to it than this one.
Peace,
Zoma
PS. Do you know what a moon climber is?
